Drake,is a Canadian rapper, singer and actor ,Drake is just his stage name,taken from his middle name. His full name Aubrey Drake Graham,born October 24 1986, He is  often recognised for playing Jimmy Brooks, the physically disabled character on Degrassi: The Next Generation. When he raps,he is often referred to as a modern version of The Fresh Prince. His dad is African American; a native of Memphis, Tennessee.. and his mum is a white Jewish Canadian, they divorced when he was just five.

In February 2006, Drake released his first ever mixtape; Room for Improvement. It was made accessible through his website and his official MySpace page,from the success of his first mixtape, he then started releasing more.Whilst working on his mixtapes and his album, Drake has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Trey Songz, Robin Thicke, Little Brother, Mary J.
